Today: Wishlists and narrowing focus

Hey y’all,

today we spoke to four groups doing large scale fire relief work, about how we can collaborate and get their resources to you. We also spoke to two local organizers about how to make sure this network reaches people who are not on slack/socials/whatsapp.

We also are working to lock in donors who are wary of their dollars going to nebulous large orgs, who want to send relief directly to you. We have a system being put in place as soon as donors commit, where they will be able to send you things you need directly.

The recording of last night’s conversation with the EPA is up here and next we’ve got our sights on time sensitive SBA loan experts, legal guidance regarding the mass torts, and someone high level at the county who can clear up questions that many of you have about what’s coming.
